:: Ingredients for Capsicum in Yogurt
Capcicum - 2
Tomato - 1
Toor dhal - 1/4 cup
Channa dhal - 2 tbsp
Grated coconut
Corriander powder - 1tsp
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Cuminseeds - 1tsp
Greenchillies - 2
Yogurt - 1cup
Mustard -1tsp
Curry leaves - 1sprig
:: How to make Capsicum in Yogurt
Soak toor dal and chenna dal in water for 1/2 hour. Heat
the pan and fry dhania
and green chillies in little oil. Then slightly fry the
soaked dal with grated coconut
and cumin seeds. Grind all the ingredients with some
water.Heat the pan, pour 1
spoon of oil add mustard seeds, allow it to splutter. Then
add 2 cut capsicums and
1 diced tomato and fry well by adding water.After 5
minutes add the ground paste
and turmeric with 1 cup of buttermilk or yogurt and
salt.Allow it to boil and add
curry leaves.
